Are you prepared for tornado season?
June 11, 2013
Tornadoes can strike quickly, with little or no warning. Every state is at some risk from this hazard. Did you know that tornadoes are most likely to strike between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. If you are in your home or school, you should go to the lowest building level or other pre-designated shelter.
Caught driving or outside with no shelter? Lie flat in a nearby ditch or depression and cover your head with your hands. For more information, visit fema. gov and search for tornado safety tip.
